The Mini Chaplains at St Patrick's Catholic Primary School have been putting their faith into action by helping to care for the local environment and showing stewardship of God's creation.
During a recent visit to the church grounds, the pupils took part in practical activities designed to help maintain and enhance the shared outdoor space.
Caring for the Environment
The Mini Chaplains spent time litter picking and pulling weeds, helping to keep the church grounds clean, welcoming and well cared for.
Through their actions, the children demonstrated a real sense of responsibility for the world around them and an understanding of the importance of looking after God's creation.
Putting Stewardship into Practice
The activity provided pupils with an opportunity to live out the principle of stewardship by caring for the environment and showing respect for the gifts God has entrusted to us.
By working together to improve the church grounds, the children reflected the values of service, responsibility and care for others that are central to the school's mission.
Making a Positive Difference
Staff were incredibly proud of the Mini Chaplains for their enthusiasm, hard work and commitment throughout the activity.
Their efforts not only helped to keep the grounds looking their best but also demonstrated how small actions can have a positive impact on the wider community.
Living Out Faith Through Service
The project was a wonderful example of pupils putting their faith into practice and showing care for both their local community and the environment.
Everyone at St Patrick's Catholic Primary School is proud of the Mini Chaplains for their dedication and for setting such a positive example of caring for God's Earth.
