Pupils at St Patrick's Catholic Primary School have been putting their faith into action by helping to support those in need through the school's Harvest collection.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of families across the school community, a van full of donations was collected and prepared for delivery to the local food bank.
Supporting the Local Community
The school's Mini Vinnies played an important role in the initiative, helping to load the donations ready for transport to the food bank.
The collection will help provide essential support to local individuals and families who may be facing difficult times, ensuring they receive practical assistance when it is needed most.
Living Out Faith Through Service
Through their involvement, the Mini Vinnies demonstrated the values of compassion, solidarity and service that are at the heart of their mission.
By helping others and giving their time so willingly, the children showed a wonderful example of how faith can be put into action through simple acts of kindness.
A Fantastic Community Effort
St Patrick's Catholic Primary School would like to thank all the families who contributed to the Harvest collection.
The generosity shown by the school community has made a real difference and reflects the caring spirit that runs throughout the school.
Making a Difference Together
The success of the collection is a reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together to help others.
Everyone at St Patrick's Catholic Primary School is incredibly proud of the Mini Vinnies and grateful to all those who donated. Together, they have helped support local people in need and demonstrated the true meaning of service, generosity and community.
