Our Year One and Year Two classes came together this week to deepen their understanding of our current RE topic, Galilee to Jerusalem - a journey rich with meaning, lessons, and inspiration.
We were blessed to welcome Deacon Wood, who helped bring the topic to life in a truly memorable and engaging way. Through storytelling and thoughtful discussion, he shared moments from Jesus’ journey, helping the children explore the messages and meaning behind His teachings.
The children were eager to take part, asking thoughtful questions and showing real curiosity about the stories they heard. They spent time reflecting on the values within Jesus’ teachings and considering how these messages can guide us in our own lives. It was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to grow together in understanding and faith.
Moments like these remind us how special it is to learn as one school family — rooted in faith, guided by love, and connected through shared experience. A heartfelt thank you to Deacon Wood for giving our children such a meaningful encounter with scripture.
