We had a wonderful time in school celebrating Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, with a day full of creativity, curiosity and learning.

Dressing Up and Diving Into Nature

The children loved dressing up as their favourite animals and taking part in a range of engaging activities focused on wildlife and caring for our environment. The day was a joyful celebration of the natural world and the importance of protecting it.

Year 3 Become Wildlife Presenters

Our Year 3 pupils became wildlife presenters for the day, working in groups to research endangered animals. They explored:

  • Where animals live
  • What they eat
  • How we can help protect them

Pupils then confidently shared their facts with the class in true David Attenborough style, showing fantastic teamwork, enthusiasm and subject knowledge.

Caring for Our Amazing Planet

The day was filled with fun, learning and meaningful discussion, helping children understand their role in caring for our amazing planet.

A truly fantastic celebration inspired by a remarkable life.
